Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how VideoFunker ("VideoFunker", "we", "us"), operated by Saleslights, collects, uses and shares information when you visit videofunker.ai and its subdomains, use the VideoFunker application at app.videofunker.ai, or interact with our advertising, including advertising on Facebook and Instagram managed through the Saleslights Ads Engine application.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, company name and login credentials you provide when you sign up.
• Content you provide: business context, scripts, prompts, uploaded media and campaigns you create in the service.
• Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive invoice, plan and payment-status information; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage and device information: pages viewed, clicks, referring campaign parameters (such as UTM tags), browser type, IP address and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
• Advertising measurement: where you consent, we use Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta Pixel to measure visits, sign-ups and purchases resulting from our ads.

2. How we use information

• To provide, operate, secure and improve the service, including generating AI-assisted scripts and AI presenter video.
• To process subscriptions, send receipts and provide customer support.
• To send service communications and, where you have agreed, marketing communications you can opt out of at any time.
• To measure and improve the performance of our advertising.
• To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Cookies and consent

Analytics and advertising cookies and pixels load only after you give consent through our consent controls. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies or updating your choices. Strictly necessary cookies are used to keep you logged in and the service secure.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf (for example hosting, payment processing by Stripe, email delivery, analytics and advertising measurement by Google and Meta, and AI model and video-generation providers), when required by law, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. Providers may process data only to perform services for us.

5. Data from Facebook and Instagram

Our Saleslights Ads Engine application uses Meta's Marketing API only to create, manage and report on VideoFunker's own advertising. It does not collect personal data about Facebook or Instagram users beyond aggregated advertising performance reports provided by Meta. Meta's processing is governed by Meta's own data policy.

6. Retention

We keep account data and content while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You may request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. California residents may request to know and delete personal information and opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any right, email operations@saleslights.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Data deletion instructions

To delete your VideoFunker account and associated data, email operations@saleslights.com with the subject "Delete my data" from the email address on your account. We will confirm once deletion is complete.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there and wherever our providers operate, using appropriate safeguards where required.

11. Children

The service is for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email.
